Lab Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Lab Operations Coordinator will ensure that engineering labs and test assets are well‑supplied, traceable, and ready for use. Based in Irvine, this hands‑on position supports both the Systems Integration and Diagnostics labs and remote teams in Palo Alto, handling purchasing, inventory, and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate SAP purchase requests, orders, quotes, invoices, returns and supplier follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate records for lab equipment, consumables, test assets and shared tools.
• Oversee receiving, inspection, labeling, storage, issuance, calibration visibility and cycle counts.
• Manage shipping logistics, including build coordination, inter‑site shipments, tracking and carrier handoffs.
• Support damaged shipments, missing items, returns and supplier quality issues.
• Maintain BOM‑to‑asset traceability for test assets leaving the lab.

Required profile

• Highly organized and proactive with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable handling multiple concurrent tasks across sites.
• Effective communicator with suppliers and internal engineering teams.
• Ability to work independently and support remote coordination.
