Junior Systems Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

Atlas Technica is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to provide onsite and remote IT support for financial services clients in the New York metropolitan area. This hybrid position offers hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 technologies and exposure to high‑profile investment firms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for desktop, software, hardware, mobile devices, and connectivity issues.
• Document, manage, and resolve tickets using the company ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to Systems Engineers or Senior Systems Engineers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation and follow change‑control procedures.

Required profile

• At least one year of professional IT experience in desktop support or systems administration.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with client users and technical teams.
• Ability to commute to client offices in New York City, Stamford, and Greenwich and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb.

• Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Desktop and laptop hardware support.
• Mobile device support.
• Microsoft 365 suite: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy.
• Fundamental networking concepts.
