About the role

As a Java Backend Developer you will join the Technology Consultant 1 track, working on AI‑enabled, cloud‑native solutions that help financial institutions accelerate growth and improve customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions, translate specifications into detailed process documentation.
• Develop, refine and document Java code for new applications, following design specifications and adhering to best practices.
• Execute test plans, analyse results, report defects and support software performance enhancements.
• Integrate new features into existing systems and ensure smooth transitions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, providing prompt issue resolution and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Document coding practices, testing methodologies and technical solutions to enrich the team’s knowledge base.
