Java Azure Architect – Senior Technology Architect

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java Azure Architect to join its Financial Services unit in Chicago. The role focuses on designing and delivering scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions for banking, wealth management, and insurance clients, leveraging AI, cloud, and data-driven innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Create comprehensive business requirement documents covering functional and non‑functional needs gathered from workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Design and review solution architecture to ensure alignment with frameworks, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Assess and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms for implementation.
• Develop integration strategies for diverse technologies and systems to enable seamless data flow.
• Resolve complex technical challenges during build, deployment, and support phases while promoting reusable frameworks.
• Provide expert guidance to development teams and foster collaborative relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identify system risks, monitor performance, and suggest optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior technology architect or architecture consultant.
• Strong background in designing enterprise‑level Java applications on Azure.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
