Software Engineer II – Fullstack (App Experience)

About the role

Affirm is looking for a Software Engineer II to join the Marketplace and App Experience domain. You will work on front‑end projects that span mobile and web, shaping the user journey across the Home hub, product offers, and more.

Key responsibilities

• Break down large projects into tasks, deliver in phases, and ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Create and monitor metrics, handle on‑call duties, and support the availability of team artifacts.
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and help maintain a high‑quality codebase.
• Engage in team community activities, including interview participation and growth initiatives.

Required profile

• At least 1.5 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Experience delivering mobile applications using native or cross‑platform tools like React Native.
• Experience designing and launching scalable APIs using Kotlin or Python.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward personal growth.
