Janitorial Technician – Part‑Time (PM Shift)

About the role
The Janitorial Tech supports a fast‑paced behavioral health facility by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation during the PM shift. This part‑time position reports to the Human Resource Director.
Key responsibilities
- Clean buildings, remove debris, and keep all areas neat and tidy.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, shampoo carpet, empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Maintain janitorial inventory and report any unusual occurrences or damage.
- Interact professionally with clients, vendors, contractors, and staff while preserving privacy and confidentiality.
Required profile
- Current CPR/First Aid/Narcan certification.
- Annual negative TB test.
- Valid fingerprint clearance card (preferred) and clean motor vehicle record (preferred).
- Successful background check and Arizona Department of Health Services Adult Protective Services check.
Required skills
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of chemical usage and safety, including reading Material Safety Data Sheets.
- Effective verbal and written communication at multiple levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
