Item Processing Analyst

About the role

The Item Processing Analyst is responsible for daily administration and coordination of activities within the Item Processing Department, supporting branch offices and corporate departments while ensuring system efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare departmental reports and analyze ATM and remote deposit transaction volumes.
• Monitor and resolve issues with Item Processing Systems, ATMs, VTM/TCRs, and coordinate with vendors.
• Review and balance General Ledgers, cash orders, and surcharge income.
• Develop and publish process documentation, and recommend improvements for efficiency and compliance.
• Partner with IT and vendors on system enhancements, testing, and new product implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 3‑5 years of item processing experience and 5‑6 years of related banking operations/compliance experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience performing system testing and writing procedures.
• Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and interpret regulatory guidelines.
