Loan Servicing Coordinator I

About the role

The Loan Servicing Coordinator I supports the daily operations of small business and commercial loan servicing, ensuring timely processing, high‑quality customer service, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up new loans, fund them, and conduct post‑closing reviews.
• Post loan transactions, maintain loan records, and process payoff quotes and transactions.
• Respond to customer inquiries, process loan modifications, and manage SBA‑guaranteed loan servicing.
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts, monitor collateral records, and handle UCC continuations.
• Train new hires, support testing of new products, and gather audit data.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 3‑5 years of customer service experience and 5‑6 years of commercial or small‑business loan experience.
• Strong knowledge of loan products, credit policy, compliance, and loan documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, time‑management, and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
