IT Intern – Credit Risk Management (2027)

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a summer intern to join the Credit Risk Management IT Portfolio. You will support technology solutions for credit risk and discount window functions, gaining exposure to central banking and IT governance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in gathering, documenting, and clarifying requirements for technology initiatives.
• Support data analysis and reporting, including building dashboards or visualizations.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and developers.
• Help review and track risk, control, or access-related items for IT governance and compliance.
• Document findings, processes, and outcomes to aid team deliverables.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and concepts.

Required skills

• Familiarity with basic data analysis or reporting tools such as Excel.
