IT Enterprise Business Analyst 2 – State Accounting Office

About the role

The State Accounting Office seeks an IT Enterprise Business Analyst 2 to support and enhance the State Financials ERP system. This position will work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure the ERP platform delivers optimal financial reporting and processing for Georgia’s citizens.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional and technical developers to configure and design ERP modules, focusing on General Ledger and Budgets.
• Gather, refine, and document business requirements from various state agencies and translate them into functional designs.
• Provide high‑quality support for system optimization, ensuring alignment with accounting policies and financial business processes.
• Participate in full‑lifecycle development, including testing, deployment, and post‑implementation reviews.
• Maintain strong communication with business owners and subject‑matter experts to deliver effective solutions.

Required profile

• Experience with finance‑related ERP modules, preferably General Ledger and/or Budgets.
• Ability to work independently and in partnership with cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with full‑lifecycle development processes and functional design.
• Commitment to customer service excellence and adherence to state employment requirements.
