About the role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle ADF Consultant to lead modernization projects, Java upgrades and WebLogic migrations for mission‑critical HR and financial applications. The role involves end‑to‑end delivery of ADF upgrades, integration updates and production support in a hybrid enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Upgrade Oracle ADF applications from 12c to 14c, including ADF Faces, BC, task flows and bindings.
  • Modernize Java platforms by migrating JDK 8 to Java 21, handling javax‑to‑jakarta migration and leveraging GraalVM.
  • Administer and troubleshoot WebLogic 12c/14c environments, perform JVM tuning (G1GC, ZGC) and ensure SSL/TLS 1.3 compatibility.
  • Upgrade and validate REST/SOAP integrations, migrate Jersey 1.x/2.x to 3.x and manage SFTP/SSH, Quartz Scheduler and MyBatis components.
  • Conduct regression testing, performance benchmarking and provide production/UAT support for critical HR or financial systems.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in Oracle ADF modernization and Java enterprise upgrades.
  • Hands‑on background with WebLogic administration and middleware migration.
  • Ability to work in hybrid on‑site/remote settings and support mission‑critical applications.

Required skills

  • Oracle ADF 12c → 14c, ADF Faces, ADF BC, task flows, bindings.
  • WebLogic 12c/14c deployment, administration and JVM tuning (G1GC, ZGC).
  • JDK 8 → Java 21 migration, javax to jakarta, JAXB, JTA, GraalVM.
  • REST/SOAP integration, Jersey 1.x/2.x → 3.x, SFTP/SSH, Quartz Scheduler, MyBatis.
  • Regression testing, performance benchmarking, production support, UAT bug fixing.
