About the role

Horizon Media, a marketing and advertising firm founded in 1989 and headquartered in New York City with offices in Los Angeles and Toronto, is hiring an Investor, Integrated Investment. The role covers digital media strategy, media buying and negotiation, campaign execution, reporting and analysis, reconciliation, mentoring assistants and onboarding associates.

Key responsibilities

• Digital media strategy: help build plans, use planning and buying tools, monitor digital trends and contribute to media plans and decks
• Media negotiating and buying: gather rates, negotiate buys across accounts, analyze daypart mixes, lead RFPs and oversee insertion orders
• Campaign management: set up campaigns in Prisma and SBMS, handle site tagging, specs, IOs and proof of placement, run mid-campaign reconciliation, billing, pacing and brand safety, and manage budgets and deliverables
• Reporting and analysis: track campaigns, analyze partner ad verification and ad server data, feed dashboards and Excel trackers, and write quarterly MSA and delivery reports
• Reconciliation: reconcile monthly invoices with the Assistant and the billing department
• Relationship management and mentorship: train and onboard assistants and associates, give feedback, and maintain relationships with internal departments and external partners

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in active buying and planning, including national buying across linear and digital
• Background in analyzing and managing buys toward campaign performance metrics
• Experience in a fast-paced advertising/marketing environment
• Strong communicator, detail oriented, independent and able to mentor others

Required skills

• Proficiency in Media Math
• Prisma and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of video, display, programmatic and social buying
• Media management, billing and competitive/targeting tools
• Mastery of third-party ad servers and ad verifiers (DCM, Double Verify, Innovid preferred)
