Inventory Specialist I - Distribution Cycle Count

About the role

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc is hiring an Inventory Specialist I (Cycle Count) for its Anderson, SC location, on the 2nd shift. The specialist conducts cycle counts, investigates inventory discrepancies and performs warehouse audits to keep inventory tracking accurate. Key responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies, including ABC counts, short list counts and assigned counts, and pull pallets for special projects
• Conduct warehouse audits in inbound receiving, picking operations, e-commerce and bulk processing, and outbound shipping
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support operations and as directed by management
• Be certified on industrial power equipment (reach truck, forklift, order picker)
• Share resources between multi-sites

Required profile

• Preferred high school diploma or GED equivalency
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
• Must operate heavy machinery; certification is required
• Internal qualifications: no final warnings, no more than 6 attendance points, efficiency and quality goals met for the previous 3 months, and 6+ months in the current role

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Experience with SAP WM is a plus
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly, and to climb, stoop, kneel and balance
