Industrial Recycling Group Leader

About the role

Kaisha Service is looking for an Industrial Recycling Group Leader in Georgetown. The role supervises a team responsible for processing scrap, recyclable, non-hazardous and hazardous waste generated from automobile manufacturing. It also contributes to Environmental Management System (EMS) performance, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in environmental protection and pollution reduction. The position is on the second shift.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise team members in following standardized work instructions for the safe removal and disposal of waste and recyclables from manufacturing facilities.
• Supervise cleaning of the work area according to 5S standards.
• Ensure all monthly safety KPIs and other assigned reports are completed.
• Lead and/or participate in team meetings and trainings.
• Participate in Kaizen activities.
• Assist in creating operational procedures, instructions and other documentation.

Required profile

• High school diploma and/or 2-3 years of management experience, preferably in a warehouse or automotive manufacturing environment.
