Assistant Operations Project Manager

About the role

Kaisha Service is looking for an Assistant Operations Project Manager to support its team in overseeing and improving the operations of its North American production plants. The role focuses on safety, quality, productivity, cost control and positive employee relations, using the principles of the Toyota Production System and the company's directives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in assessing and evaluating production plants to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Help develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analyze data and performance metrics to track progress and summarize data for departmental improvement.
• Coordinate and communicate with plant managers and staff to align with operational goals.
• Contribute to training programs and resources for continuous improvement.
• Support regular site visits, observations and feedback to plant operations.
• Monitor productivity performance and implement improvements to meet targets.
• Monitor preventive maintenance and repairs needed for facility and production equipment.

Required profile

• 6 to 9 years of experience, including supervisory experience in a production environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and similar tools.
