Industrial Adhesives & Tapes Specialist (Remote – Indianapolis)

About the role

As an Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Specialist you will collaborate with innovative 3M teams worldwide, leveraging your curiosity to drive growth of the Industrial Adhesives & Tapes portfolio. The role offers a transition from private, public, government or military experience into a career at 3M.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed designated sales quota within your defined territory.
• Partner with local channel teams to execute growth initiatives, strategies, and programs.
• Develop end‑user customers and application processes to expand the Industrial Adhesives & Tapes portfolio.
• Provide market and customer insights to portfolio managers, marketing, application engineers and leadership.
• Collaborate with the End‑User Key Accounts Team to drive growth through key customers.
• Manage opportunity pipeline, conduct strategic planning for new opportunities and regular business reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified prior to start.
• Minimum two years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Experience articulating value propositions and system‑selling.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience developing and managing key accounts.
• Product demonstration experience and competence.
• Strong track record of collaboration and cross‑functional teamwork.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish may be preferred or required.
