Independent Field Inspector – Property Inspections

About the role

Seek Now is looking for capable 1099 independent subcontractors to perform accurate, impartial home and commercial property inspections. As a Field Inspector you will be the frontline expert collecting data for clients in property insurance, facility management and real‑estate sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Access and inspect steep or high roofs, lift and set up ladders and equipment up to 100 lb.
• Sketch and measure roof and room components, scope various roof and room shapes.
• Perform complete, unbiased inspections and document findings using Seek Now’s proprietary mobile software.
• Travel to weather‑impacted areas on short notice, often for 2‑6‑week assignments, with lodging provided.
• Cover a 100‑mile radius around your home market and operate additional tools such as 3D cameras, drones and moisture meters.

Required profile

• Own a reliable truck, van or SUV capable of transporting a 32‑foot ladder.
• Operational laptop and smartphone with ability to navigate applications and use Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license, state‑issued workers’ compensation, general liability insurance and LLC documentation.
• Ability to obtain HAAG certification within 90 days and submit high‑quality reports on time.
• Professional appearance and willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
