In-Home Certified Nursing Assistant

About the role

BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in‑home health support to patients in Waukesha County and Lake Country. You will help clients maintain comfort, independence, and safety while following individualized care plans.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation.
• Support daily living activities, including meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the supervising nurse.
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and ensure a clean, safe environment.

Required profile

• Active Wisconsin CNA certification.
• Current CPR certification (preferred).
• Reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work around pets (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and a patient‑centered approach.
