iCUT Technician – Afternoon Shift

About the role

We are looking for a dependable iCUT Technician to join our production team in Carlstadt, NJ. The role focuses on operating digital cutting equipment to create high‑quality graphics, signage, displays, and packaging components while meeting customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, load, align, and operate iCUT digital cutting equipment according to work orders and production schedules.
• Perform precision cutting, routing, creasing, scoring, and kiss‑cutting on various substrates such as foam board, PVC, acrylic, vinyl, and cardboard.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, maintain production records, and report equipment issues.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine problems.
• Collaborate with Prepress, Printing, and Finishing teams to ensure timely job completion.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of experience operating digital cutting equipment (iCUT, Zünd, Kongsberg, Esko or similar).
• Experience in commercial printing, signage, display graphics, or packaging production is preferred.
• Ability to read production tickets, interpret cutting files, and use measuring tools accurately.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
