Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will shape organizational culture, drive strategic people initiatives, and oversee all HR operations. Reporting to the CFO, this role blends high‑level strategy with hands‑on execution to ensure talent management, compliance, and an engaging workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with overall business goals.
• Manage full‑cycle recruitment, onboarding, and off‑boarding, delivering a high‑touch experience.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for employee‑relations issues, investigations, and terminations.
• Oversee the comprehensive benefits portfolio, vendor renewals, and annual administration.
• Provide coaching to department heads on leadership development and team dynamics.
• Administer HRIS, payroll data transmission, and benefits billing reconciliation.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and update the Employee Handbook.
• Design and continuously improve the annual performance review process.
• Drive employee engagement, recognition programs, and internal events.
• Act as the internal liaison for third‑party IT vendor logistics.

Required profile

• 5–10+ years of HR experience, preferably in a director or senior leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or SHRM‑SCP/SPHR certification strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to develop macro‑level HR strategy while managing day‑to‑day operations.
• Strong track record handling sensitive employee‑relations issues and compliance risk mitigation.
• Mature Christian who aligns with CCV’s Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct.
