HR Generalist - Denver Facility

About the role

HD Supply is looking for an HR Generalist to support a fast-paced, complex operation at its Denver facility, working closely with associates and leaders. The role provides HR support and counsel to a business or functional line covering staffing, compensation, benefits, learning, associate relations and performance management, while ensuring consistent application of HR policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Administer core HR programs: staffing, associate relations, compensation, benefits, performance management and learning.
• Develop and recommend solutions to HR issues and consult management on the interpretation and administration of HR policies and procedures.
• Work with managers and associates to investigate and resolve associate relations issues.
• Support staffing through sourcing, interviewing candidates and reference checks.
• Act as liaison between HR and other departments and functional experts.

Required profile

• Willingness to work a later shift (Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM).
• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience in supply chain, manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Background in employee relations, workplace investigations and employee engagement.
• BS/BA in a related discipline, or MS/MA with 2-4 years of related experience; certification required in some areas.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, able to influence leadership and work independently or in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office suite, Workday and UKG WFMS.
• Data analysis skills, including resolving inconsistencies in complex research and data.
