About the role
AIM Private Clinic seeks enthusiastic high school science tutors who can mentor students in biology, physics, and chemistry. The role involves both in‑person and online sessions, focusing on building trusting relationships with students and their families.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans and session materials for each tutoring appointment.
- Conduct mentoring sessions in person or online, ensuring quality educational support.
- Report session details (date, location, duration) to AIM Private Clinic.
- Notify the clinic of any client inquiries, complaints, or the need for a replacement tutor.
- Attend monthly meetings and maintain confidentiality of client information.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing) preferred.
- At least two years of subject‑specific tutoring or teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of biology, physics, and chemistry.
- Excellent communication skills with students and adults.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel within San Antonio.
- Ability to pass a background check.
