Healthcare Agent Development Strategist

About the role

Sierra is looking for a Strategist to own the end‑to‑end development of AI agents that serve healthcare customers. You will guide agents from pilot to production, working closely with both product and technical teams while staying focused on the people who use the agents.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Agent Development Life Cycle – scope, conversation design, tooling, evaluation, launch and continuous iteration.
• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise leaders, shaping AI strategy that meets their business goals.
• Partner daily with customer teams, run working sessions, troubleshoot issues and keep projects on track for launch.
• Surface unmet customer needs and feed them back to research and platform teams to influence product direction.

Required profile

• Customer‑obsessed with strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strategic problem‑solver comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex organizations.
• Technical aptitude – can read API documentation, understand data models and system architecture, and discuss engineering trade‑offs.
• Proven ownership and delivery of multiple high‑visibility projects.
