Head of US Crop Protection Regulatory Affairs

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head the US Crop Protection Regulatory Affairs function for BASF’s Agricultural Solutions division. Based in Research Triangle Park, NC, you will guide regulatory strategy for our crop protection portfolio, ensuring product approvals and compliance across federal and state agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regulatory strategies for existing and pipeline crop protection products in the United States.
• Maintain and defend registrations, preparing robust submission dossiers for new products.
• Lead interactions with federal (EPA, USDA) and state regulatory agencies, representing BASF at senior levels.
• Collaborate with commercial, supply‑chain, and product development teams to align regulatory plans with business objectives.
• Provide guidance on global regulatory policies and ensure consistent implementation within the North American Crop Protection leadership team.
• Drive a culture of empowerment, customer focus, and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in US crop protection regulatory affairs.
• Proven ability to influence and negotiate with federal and state regulatory bodies.
