Regulatory Pest Resistance Manager (North America)

About the role

The Regulatory Pest Resistance Manager (North America) will lead the creation and execution of regulatory and resistance‑management strategies for BASF’s agricultural innovations. Based in Research Triangle Park, NC, the role works in a hybrid setting and collaborates closely with business, development and regulatory teams to secure product registrations and ensure sustainable market access.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional and country‑specific regulatory strategies across the product lifecycle, from R&D to phase‑out.
• Manage registration activities for new and existing projects, aligning them with business objectives.
• Engage with regulatory authorities, industry stakeholders, and internal portfolio teams to drive successful registrations.
• Provide strategic expertise on resistance management, stewardship, and plant‑incorporated products (PIPs).
• Partner with Portfolio Management and Development to synchronize regulatory requirements with development priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in regulatory affairs within the agricultural sector.
• Strong understanding of resistance management and stewardship principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams and influence external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and a results‑oriented mindset.
