Head of Quantitative Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics – Oncology

About the role

The company seeks a senior leader to head Quantitative Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics (QP2) for its oncology pipeline, shaping safety, efficacy, dose, schedule, patient‑selection and benefit‑risk strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute QP2 strategy across discovery, early development, registration and lifecycle management.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams, mentor scientists and build a high‑performing, modality‑agile organization.
• Influence regulatory interactions, author and defend NDA/MAA submissions for multiple modalities.
• Integrate population PK/PKPD, exposure‑response, translational modeling, QSP, real‑world data and AI/ML approaches into decision‑making.

Required profile

• Ph.D. (or equivalent) with at least 15 years of drug‑development experience, including 5+ years in oncology.
• Proven record of model‑informed drug development across ADCs, small molecules, biologics or cell therapies.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and influencing portfolio and business‑development decisions.

Required skills

• Population PK/PKPD analysis using standard pharmacometric software.
• Exposure‑response analysis, dose optimization and simulation‑based trial design.
• Quantitative systems pharmacology, translational and disease‑progression modeling.
• AI/ML, automation, real‑world data and biomarker integration.
• Strong written and verbal communication for regulatory and scientific audiences.
