About the role
The Head of Admissions will lead the U.S. admissions portfolio, driving international student enrolment through efficient, end‑to‑end processes. You will act as the admissions expert for all U.S. partnerships, ensuring high‑quality offer letters and smooth progression from application to enrolment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the admissions function for U.S. based partnerships, overseeing assessment, documentation, and offer issuance.
- Maintain and improve admissions pipelines, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Serve as final assessor for non‑standard applications and coordinate approvals with academic staff.
- Represent OIEG in regular operations meetings with university partners and follow up on action items.
- Ensure high quality of Letters of Admission (LOA) and Unconditional Offers (UO) and resolve first‑contact queries.
- Provide timely admissions updates, reports, and presentations to support recruitment efforts.
- Maintain accurate pathway toolkits and ensure adherence to university admissions policies.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in higher‑education admissions, preferably with international student programmes.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. qualifications, entry criteria, and admissions policies.
- Proven ability to manage complex application pipelines and make sound judgement on non‑standard cases.
- Strong reporting and presentation skills to communicate admissions performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management with university partners, internal teams, and external agencies.
