Growth Engineer – Build End-to-End Self-Serve Funnel

About the role

Weave is building an AI‑powered platform that helps engineering teams understand their work. As the founding Growth Engineer you will own the entire self‑serve funnel—from the first website visit to a team becoming an active user—turning product usage into a reliable sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and iterate the website, landing pages, pricing pages, and programmatic SEO content.
• Own the signup and onboarding flow, ensuring teams can connect a repo and see their first insight within minutes.
• Develop the experimentation infrastructure: A/B testing, feature flags, and event tracking.
• Construct the growth data stack, including attribution, product‑qualified lead scoring, and CRM synchronization.
• Automate lifecycle communications with email and in‑product sequences triggered by user behavior.
• Collaborate with product engineering, marketing, and GTM teams to handoff qualified self‑serve leads to sales.

Required profile

• Professional software engineer who ships production code across the stack on a weekly basis.
• Proven track record of owning and improving a growth funnel, with measurable impact on sign‑ups or activation.
• Data‑driven mindset: fluent in SQL, product analytics, and designing experiments that can fail.
• Strong product sense, avoiding dark‑pattern tactics and focusing on genuine user value.
• Ability to move fast, identify the biggest funnel leaks, fix them, and report results.
