Groundskeeper/Porter – The Marshall Student Living

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter supports the daily upkeep of The Marshall student‑living community, ensuring the grounds, common areas and amenities remain clean, safe and welcoming. This part‑time position works closely with the Service Supervisor and Community Manager to maintain high standards of curb appeal.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris and pet droppings, keeping all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transport waste to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage spaces.
• Complete minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Assist the make‑ready specialist during apartment turnovers, including basic lock changes.

Required profile

• Physical stamina to perform outdoor and indoor maintenance tasks.
• Reliability and ability to work independently while supporting the service team.
• Attention to detail to ensure community standards are consistently met.
