Groundskeeper for Broadstone North Lamar Community

About the role

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the appearance and safety of the Broadstone North Lamar community in Austin. This role ensures that all outdoor areas, amenities and common spaces meet Greystar’s standards of curb‑appeal while supporting the on‑site service team.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet waste and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant units, transport it to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage spaces.
• Perform minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with unit turn‑around processes.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features comply with codes.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete required OSHA training and report accidents or incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.
