About the role

The Assistant Community Manager (Lease Up) supports the Community Manager in handling the financial and operational aspects of a residential community. This full‑time position focuses on accounting, bookkeeping, and reporting tasks to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments.
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile bank accounts.
  • Process invoices, payables, and monthly close‑out procedures.
  • Generate financial reports and monthly statements.
  • Maintain accurate records using property management software.
  • Assist with dispositions and account reconciliations.

Required profile

  • Experience in accounting or bookkeeping within a property management environment.
  • Ability to handle rent collection, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency with property management software.
