Space Planning Coordinator

About the role

Saronic Technologies, a leader in autonomous maritime solutions, is seeking a Space Planning Coordinator to support workplace capacity, utilization, and move planning as the company grows. This 6‑month contract role will align space decisions with headcount, program timelines, and facility constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Create and revise basic floorplans for open office seating, conference rooms, cafeterias, mother’s rooms, and support spaces using CAD/drafting tools.
• Maintain seating counts and utilization summaries; support headcount/occupancy alignment across teams and locations.
• Assist with move sequencing, transition plans, and stakeholder communications for relocations, restacks, and space changes.
• Support executive stakeholders by capturing requirements, managing intake, and driving timely updates through to completion.
• Keep space plans, assumptions, and change logs current; ensure requests and decisions are traceable.

Required profile

• 3+ years supporting space planning, facilities, workplace planning, or similar coordination roles.
• Working proficiency with CAD or drafting tools and ability to produce clean, simple planning layouts.
• Comfort balancing multiple priorities with tight timelines and frequent changes.
• Strong written and verbal communication with professional executive presence.
