About the role

Ochsner Health System in New Orleans is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Psychiatrist to provide outpatient psychiatric services and consultations, with a focus on geriatric patients. Both newly trained physicians and experienced psychiatrists are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

Deliver outpatient psychiatric care, including telemedicine, intensive outpatient, and inpatient services.
Participate in training joint LSU/Ochsner residents and evaluate University of Queensland medical students.
Collaborate within an integrated practice model and utilize the EPIC medical record platform.

Required profile

Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
Eligibility to practice in a tort‑reform state.
Willingness to work in an onsite setting in New Orleans.

Required skills

Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record system.
