About the role

We are seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead one of San Francisco’s most prestigious 5‑star boutique hotels. The successful candidate will be the steward of the property’s brand, operational excellence, and financial performance, delivering bespoke luxury experiences to an international clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across operational, commercial, and culinary divisions.
• Champion an authentic European‑style, tailored service culture and modern luxury standards.
• Drive top‑line revenue and gross operating profit (GOP) optimization in line with ownership objectives.

Required profile

• Proven track record as General Manager in world‑class 5‑star luxury boutique hotels or high‑end lifestyle properties.
• Strong familiarity with US luxury market dynamics, preferably San Francisco or other major metropolitan areas.
• Deep understanding of luxury service standards, haute food‑and‑beverage concepts, and guest‑centric innovation.
• Exceptional emotional intelligence, charisma, and refined leadership style capable of inspiring high‑caliber talent.
• Native or fluent English; additional European languages are a strong asset.
