Future Talent Program – Epidemiology & RWE Analytics Intern

About the role

The Future Talent Program offers a 10‑12 week summer internship in epidemiology and real‑world evidence (RWE) analytics, providing hands‑on experience with data analysis, literature review, and scientific communication within a pharmaceutical setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct targeted literature reviews to summarize background information on specific topics.
• Analyze real‑world health data to assess data quality, disease identification, treatment patterns, and develop prediction models.
• Summarize and interpret study results, contribute to protocol development, and assist in manuscript writing.
• Help develop and update visualization tools such as dashboards and geospatial visuals.
• Prepare materials explaining AI and machine‑learning methods and present findings to internal or external audiences.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled graduate student (PhD or PharmD) in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, data science, biomedical informatics, or related field.
• Must have completed at least two semesters of graduate work by May 30, 2027 and be able to commit full‑time for 10‑12 weeks starting May/June 2027.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a multi‑functional team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAS, SQL, R, or Python.
• Experience with systematic or targeted literature reviews.
