Quality Control Specialist – In Vivo Release Testing

About the role

The Quality Assurance group ensures that every material used in our products meets the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position supports the release of vaccines to market by performing in‑vivo release testing (IRT) within the Manufacturing Division Quality Laboratory Operations Team.

Key responsibilities

• Execute laboratory procedures in compliance with established testing methods, protocols, and SOPs.
• Document study data in technical notebooks or approved electronic files and enter data into validated systems.
• Support IRT activities, including facility scheduling, assembly, coordination, and maintenance of study‑related information.
• Assist during audits and inspections and work rotating holidays, weekends, and Saturdays.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or a related field.
• Experience with rodent handling, dosing techniques, observations, gross examinations and necropsy.
• Knowledge of intraperitoneal (IP) injections and in‑vivo models.

Required skills

• GMP compliance and Good Laboratory Practices.
• Analytical instrumentation and method development.
• Laboratory documentation, protocols, safety, techniques and testing.
• Quality assurance processes, auditing and inspections.
• Rodent handling, dosing, intraperitoneal injections, and necropsy.
