Fully Licensed Therapist – Anxiety & Depression – Remote (1099)

About the role

Open Mind Health is seeking fully licensed California therapists to provide virtual psychotherapy for clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood concerns, stress, burnout, and life transitions. This 100% remote position offers flexible scheduling and a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver virtual psychotherapy using evidence‑guided approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT‑informed interventions, and mindfulness‑based strategies.
• Assess client needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and help clients build coping and emotional regulation skills.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with the broader care team as needed.

Required profile

• Active, unrestricted California license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed Psychologist (PsyD/PhD).
• Strong clinical assessment and psychotherapy experience with anxiety, depression, mood, stress, or related mental health concerns.
• Commitment to evidence‑based, culturally responsive, client‑centered care and a minimum of 20 recurring weekly hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and technology.
• Experience with CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness‑based interventions, or similar evidence‑based modalities.
