About the role

This full‑time, day‑shift position supports patient care at the CHRISTUS Health Clinic by performing phlebotomy and laboratory specimen processing. The role combines direct patient interaction with accurate data entry and specimen handling.

Key responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and other phlebotomy procedures, collect and label specimens.
Process, accession, and distribute specimens to the laboratory.
Enter patient information and retrieve data using Windows‑based applications.
Communicate clearly with patients and staff, respecting privacy and consent requirements.

Required profile

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a phlebotomy course preferred.
Current state phlebotomy license or trainee license.
No prior experience required, though 1 year of experience is preferred.

Required skills

Proficiency with computer data entry and Windows‑style applications.
Knowledge of venipuncture and phlebotomy techniques.
