Full-Time Night LPN – Hospital/Inpatient (Jeff Hwy)

About the role

Exceptional care starts with exceptional people. This role provides direct patient care, including IV therapy, for assigned patients in a hospital inpatient setting under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively uses the Nursing Process in the delivery of patient care through data gathering, planning and evaluation.
• Provides care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety and related criteria appropriate to patient ages.
• Communicates effectively and professionally with patients, families and co‑workers to ensure a quality patient experience.
• Adapts to rapid changes throughout the day as unit needs evolve.
• Manages personal professional development and maintains required clinical knowledge, technical skills, training and credentials.
• Other related duties as required.

Required skills

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• IV therapy credentials (preferred).
