Full-Time Engagement Professional Talent Manager (Technology)

About the role

Robert Half is hiring a Talent Manager for its Full-Time Engagement Professional Talent Manager team in the Technology Practice, based in Chicago. The role covers both business development and recruiting skilled technology professionals for clients' projects and interim needs. It follows a hybrid schedule, with at least three days a week in a premium office space.

Key responsibilities

• Business development: introduce services to new and existing clients by video, telephone and in-person meetings; build client target lists and develop enterprise-wide relationships with key stakeholders for staff augmentation and project initiatives
• Negotiate bill rates for full-time engagement professionals and use proprietary business development tools
• Recruit and hire technology professionals into the national practice, meet weekly interview metrics and use proprietary recruiting tools to source talent
• Manage ongoing communication with full-time engagement professionals, run quality assurance calls with clients and professionals, give performance feedback, hold annual career discussions and merit pay reviews
• Match professionals to client needs using Salesforce searches and resolve customer service issues quickly

Required profile

• Technology degree preferred
• 1+ years of experience in a technology-related field preferred
• 2+ years of business development experience in a metrics-driven environment, including success in developing new business with multiple decision-makers
• Proven success marketing to and closing top-level decision-makers and building long-term relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, positive attitude and engaging business approach

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office Suite
• Contact management application such as Salesforce

What we offer

• Salary of $65,000 to $93,000, negotiable, with eligibility for a performance-based bonus
