Full-Time Dishwasher

About the role

Eurest is seeking a reliable full‑time Dishwasher to join the team at Cafe 71 in Chicago. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, ensuring dishes, cookware, and equipment are properly cleaned and ready for service.

Key responsibilities

• Scrape, rinse, and wash dishes, pots, pans, and trays by hand or using a commercial dishwashing machine.
• Polish silverware using a burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth.
• Maintain proper temperatures and chemical levels in cleaning solutions.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food‑prep surfaces.
• Remove trash, steam‑clean garbage cans, and transport supplies between storage and work areas.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures and assist with loading/unloading supplies.

Required profile

• Prior dishwashing experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Ability to work a flexible Monday‑Friday schedule.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Willingness to follow established procedures for chemical handling and equipment use.
