Full-Time Academic ENT Physician (Otolaryngology)

About the role

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport seeks a board‑certified/board‑eligible ENT physician for a full‑time academic appointment. The position is at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor and involves patient care, teaching, and optional research within a tertiary‑care, Level I trauma center.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality otolaryngology patient care to a diverse regional population.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical and surgical settings.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and collaborate with nursing and allied health teams.
• Engage in clinical research activities as desired, contributing to the department’s scholarly mission.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Otolaryngology‑Head & Neck Surgery.
• Eligibility for an active Louisiana medical license.
• Demonstrated excellence in patient care, education, and a commitment to academic advancement.
