Full-Stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails & React)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Full‑Stack Engineer to join an international eLearning platform team. You will work on a modern compliance and learning management system, building both backend services and polished frontend experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Own features end‑to‑end: define technical approach, develop frontend and backend, and ship to production.
• Design, implement and maintain reliable, high‑performance RESTful APIs and data models.
• Build accessible, responsive React interfaces with strong UI/UX focus.
• Integrate AI‑powered capabilities such as personalized learning paths and intelligent compliance tools.
• Utilise AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot) to accelerate delivery.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience building customer‑facing web applications with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong expertise in React and modern JavaScript ecosystems.
• Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and work with relational databases.
• Experience delivering projects from concept through production, making architectural trade‑offs.
• Track record of raising team standards through mentorship, code quality or process improvements.
• Comfort working in US time‑zone hours and communicating fluently in English.
