Front Office Manager

About the role

The Front Office Manager leads the front desk team at Candlewood Suites, ensuring exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure. This role oversees daily operations, staff training, and compliance with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage front desk operations, including staffing, training, and supply control.
• Monitor guest feedback, service scores, and brand compliance, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Control departmental expenses and labor within budget, and support revenue initiatives such as upselling and loyalty enrollments.
• Act as Manager on Duty, conduct safety checks, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of front desk leadership experience.
• High school diploma required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle conflict with tact.
• Knowledge of local attractions and transportation to assist guests.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PMS systems, preferably Hyatt Opera or Colleague Advantage.
• Computer literacy and basic financial management capabilities.
