Freight OSD Clerk – $17.66/hr

About the role

The Freight OSD Clerk works in the Shreveport Service Center handling freight overages, shortages, and damages. You will investigate issues, document findings, and collaborate with customer service to resolve problems while operating in a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate freight overages, shortages, and damages on the dock.
• Take photographs of freight issues and document findings.
• Move freight using a forklift and handle items manually when required.
• Operate shrink‑wrap machines as needed.
• Work closely with customer service to resolve freight discrepancies.

Required profile

• Excellent problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and analytical skills.
• Professional, self‑motivated, energetic with strong attendance.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook, and other Microsoft products.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Shrink‑wrap machine operation.
• Proficiency with Windows operating system.
• Experience using Outlook and Microsoft Office applications.
