Fourth Grade Teacher

About the role

The Fourth Grade Teacher will join Fairmont Schools in Historic Anaheim, delivering the school’s curriculum to a diverse group of students while fostering a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily, weekly and yearly instructional goals aligned with Fairmont’s curriculum guidelines.
• Design and post assignments, homework, and communications using the school’s Learning Management System.
• Create varied lesson plans that incorporate technology, visual/auditory aids, enrichment, and remediation.
• Assess student progress through regular tests, maintain records in the online gradebook, and provide feedback to parents.
• Organize and supervise academic and social events, field trips, and classroom safety procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; CBEST completion and teaching credential preferred.
• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the school’s Learning Management System (LMS).
• Effective integration of age‑appropriate technology into instruction.
