Food & Beverage Supervisor – Hotel & Event Center

About the role

The Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center is looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead front‑of‑house teams, ensure smooth restaurant operations, and act as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts. This full‑time, year‑round position supports both dinner and breakfast services while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front‑of‑house staff during restaurant shifts, monitoring dining room flow, guest satisfaction, and service standards.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling guest concerns, safety, security, and operational decisions in the absence of department managers.
• Support bar operations, manage inventory control, and assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Provide breakfast leadership coverage and collaborate with the Breakfast Manager to maintain consistent service across all meals.
• Assist with inventory management, cash handling, and point‑of‑sale procedures, and complete shift reports.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food‑and‑beverage environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced hospitality setting, including flexible availability.
• Professional appearance and guest‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Experience in inventory management and ordering processes.
• Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation, and liquor law compliance.
• Ability to stand, walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lb occasionally.
