Food & Beverage Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a Food & Beverage Attendant to join the Food & Beverage Department at Homewood Mountain & Lake Club on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. The role combines cashier duties, food running, and bussing tables in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, ring up orders, process payments and issue receipts using the POS system.
• Run food orders from the kitchen to tables, ensure correct delivery and presentation.
• Clear and reset tables, maintain cleanliness of the dining area, and support sanitation standards.
• Suggest additional items or beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Balance cash registers at the start and end of each shift.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food and beverage service is preferred.
• Ability to work in a high‑volume environment, maintain attention to detail and composure.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb.

Required skills

• POS system operation.
• Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain before start date).
• Cash handling and credit‑card transaction processing.
