Floor Technician (Full‑Time)

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a full‑time Floor Technician to maintain clean and safe flooring across the Albany Technical College campus.

Key responsibilities

• Perform floor care assignments following established cleaning and maintenance schedules.
• Operate and maintain various floor‑care equipment, including carpet shampooers, floor scrubbers, buffers, and sealers.
• Shampoo carpets, strip, wax, seal tile flooring, and buff hallways.
• Move furniture and equipment to prepare areas for cleaning.
• Sweep and mop classrooms and other assigned spaces.
• Operate state vehicles such as maintenance trucks, golf carts, and forklifts as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years of commercial floor‑care experience.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license.
