Floating Assistant Community Manager – Greater Seattle

About the role

Greystar has an immediate opening for an experienced Floating Assistant Community Manager in the Greater Seattle area. The role supports on‑site Community Managers across multiple residential properties, ensuring residents receive excellent service and that daily operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments, prepare daily bank deposits and process invoices.
• Assist the leasing team with virtual and in‑person tours, process applications and lease documentation.
• Respond to resident inquiries, resolve service issues, and coordinate move‑out processes.
• Partner with on‑site and marketing teams to organize safe, socially‑distanced resident events.
• Act as on‑site supervisor in the Community Manager’s absence and oversee vendor relationships and property inspections.

Required profile

• Previous property management experience (fee management preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate or related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Financially savvy with experience in budgeting and fiscal reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using Yardi or OneSite property management software.
